In the past two weeks getting my new business Fund Your Cause set up, I have registered a domain, designed my logo (thank you Adobe and Noun Project), created my website using WordPress, set up my email using Titan, created a company page, launched my new services via a LinkedIn post, set up a CRM using Tape (currently offering 6 months free), got the Toggl app, got a quote for indemnity insurance, become a member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, talked to lots of people who have got in touch via LinkedIn, and set up several discovery meetings. It’s exciting and scary at the same time! Now, what crucial thing have I not done that every #freelancer should do?… 🤔
